Youghiogheny is a manufacturer of distinctive opalescent glass in Tiffany traditions, including High Striked (HS) finishes (Ring Mottles), renowned Tiffany Reproduction Glass (RG), and "Stipple Glass" (SP). Stipple Glass duplicates the waxiness and ice-like qualities of rare originally signed Tiffany glass works. The difference between a traditonal fluorine opal and the ice-like quality of Stipple Glass becomes very evident when illuminated . Stipple Glass does not require dead opacity to hide the strong filament of a light bulb.
